DJ Hells Yeah
DJ Hells Yeah uses the decks to guide the crowd away from the ordinary and into the realm of their musical imaginations. His on-the-fly mixes bridge unexpected song selections that build a collective consciousness of cassette tapes and gatefold LP’s. The mixing style you’ll experience with DJ Hells Yeah was influenced by authentic NYC sound experiences featured at the Sound Factory Bar, The Tunnel, Wild Pitch, Mars, The World and anywhere that coolness couldn’t be bought with bottle service.
When DJ Hells Yeah first witnessed Little Louie Vega spinning Femi Kuti’s “Truth don’t Die” at the Shelter, he was inspired by the crowd’s feverish reaction. He noted that the club had become one on the dance floor, and that color, creed and sex ceased to exist in that moment. It was then that he realized that inspiring that kind of passion through music was his calling.
For the past 6 years, DJ Hells Yeah has helped shape Downtown Jersey City nightlife by making LITM the premier destination for live mixed music. His ability to read the crowd and deliver unstoppable beats, Dj Hells Yeah will lure you in and make you forget who you were before the music began.
